♍ sun ; ♒ moon ; ♏ rising infp ; type nine southern belle and northern daughter : painfully shy and singing 'you are my sunshine' to anyone who would listen, she was born in the north and then relocated to the south, where she grew up amongst magnolias and beneath the starry sky. she dreams of rowing by the Ponte dei Sospiri or walking along the beaches of Calais, just as desperately as she wishes to explore the rooms of Versailles or stand before the Mona Lisa. she's always reading, reading, reading, and when she's not reading she's writing. she has too many ribbons and ballet flats - and she wears them to work, religiously. she loves tulle and lace and fluffy, big skirts and she's convinced she was born in the wrong era, as she loves both Victorian garments and Renaissance art, respectively. her biggest fear is dark, deep water. she also don't like airplanes, spiders, or birds (unless they're owls.) T.S. Eliot speaks from her soul, F. Scott Fitzgerald would write her story. as she's drawn to tragedy and tragic characters, she's also her own gothic heroine, lost and trying to find herself again. Christine Daaé, Northern daughter, Flaxen locks and rosy face; Whispers tales her father taught her: Trolls and goblins, dolls and lace. Of Skogsra leading hunters’ slaughter, Children of the changeling race. Or milking maids, who at first sight Would fancy Nacken water sprite, And dared give chase in blind delight. Tho’ the best-loved tale, she oft did say Was Little Lotte, asleep in her bed; And in her dreams, was carried away By an Angel’s voice inside her head. On seas of song, she’d blissfully sway ‘Til into the night, day brightly bled. - And the poet says that by starlight You come seeking, in the night, the flowers that you picked And that he has seen on the water, lying in her long veils White Ophelia floating, like a great lily. "They took me to the home of the slender and beautiful courtesan, Bianca Solderini, a lithesome and incomparable charmer, with Botticelli-style wavy locks and almond-shaped gray eyes and a generous and kindly wit." "'Botticelli made you,' I whispered. I often said this to her, because she was so like his beauties." | ||||||
